Beta vulgaris
The classic swirly pinky purple Italian heirloom. This selection stems from a 3 line cross we did back in 2008. Beet seed is difficult to produce in the front range. Consequently, we've had a couple of crop losses and are hanging on to this old lot for its last season. This is an an excellent strain.
