Cucumis sativus
Family: Cucurbitaceae
Suyo's are a great eating variety. With their distinct long curved shape and slight spiny skins they can be a little intimidating until you eat one in a salad with fresh tomatoes, scallions and basil. They do well under most climate conditions as well. While visiting the Fiji Islands we noticed they were the only cuke sold in their central market. I was impressed to find them doing well under tropical conditions. Glad to offer fresh seed.
