The historic Chinese cultivar thats made its way into to the main stream through organic farming and the specialty vegetable boom now spreading ubiquitously nation wide. Throughout its long history its attractive flesh and overall beauty was given names such as Red Meat, Rose Heart, Beauty Heart and now Watermelon Radish! The sweet and spicy flavor is unique unto itself. We grow it routinely as a fall crop for our CSA members, farmers market patrons, specialty restaurants and the natural foodies that abound here in Boulder County. We're glad to offer our farm grown seeds from this fine radish variety.
